We are the U.S.A. - The Uplands School Association.
We are made up of parents and carers and our aim is to arrange fund raising events in order to support the school.
Please consider joining us!
On Thursday 29th March the School Council and the USA will be holding a Bake sale and a Chocolate Egg Tombola in the small playground from 3.15pm. We are aiming to jointly raise funds for school equipment and for the lovely school pets Hamlet-Fang and Woody-Walnut who are in need of supplies
(especially a new hamster ball as Hamlet has broken the current one).
If you are able to donate any cakes for our sale please send them into the school office on the morning of the 29th complete with an ingredient list (nothing containing nuts please), they would be gratefully received.
We would also welcome any kind donations of chocolate eggs or similar treats for the tombola which will be held at the same time as the cake sale. Any of these donations can be left in the
USA donation box (by the post box) anytime from now.
As always we really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you on the day.
Mrs Cripps, The School Council & Uplands School Association
Please note that in order to comply with our safeguarding code of conduct, parents who assist or stay during children's USA functions need to be members of the USA. It is easy to become a member, just ask at the school office and they will put you in touch with someone from the USA. You will need to have a DBS check (formerly a CRB) again, please ask at the office for details. Please note that this does not apply to PARENTS attending social events organised by the USA e.g. quizzes etc. Thank you.
