Uplands Breakfast Club

What do we offer?

Our Breakfast Club opens at 7:30am every day and is held in the school hall. In keeping with the our Healthy Schools Mark we offer the children a healthy breakfast each morning. 

There is a choice of:

¨ Cereals

¨ Fruit & Yogurt

¨ Wholemeal Toast

¨ Juice, milk or water

Please note that we do not serve breakfast after 8:15 am. Pupils arriving after this time will be offered fruit only.

How does it work?

Breakfast Club is bookable online through scopay.com and costs £4.85. All children attending Breakfast Club will need to have a completed registration form. We ask that if you are booking Breakfast Club that you do so 48 hours in advance so that we know how many children we will be catering for. Booking online closes 48 hours before. Emergency bookings will need to be made via the school office. You will need to have a positive balance to enable you to book Breakfast Club. Payment can be made online via the Schools Cash Office facility. Please ask the school office for more details.

Important Information

¨ All our staff are DBS checked and first aid trained.

¨ Our staff know our procedures relating to keeping pupils safe and they know how to report concerns and accidents.

¨ The school site is secure before school and we do not allow any unchecked visitors on site.  

¨ The office is manned from 7:30am should you have any queries or for emergency bookings. Please note we will   accommodate emergency bookings where possible but 48 hours notice is normally required.

¨ Cancellations are made through the office. You will need to give 48hrs notice to avoid being charged.

Security

Your child’s safety is paramount to us. In order to support us with these please ensure that:

· You accompany your child to the front door, please do not allow them to walk down the drive alone

· We know when your child is attending. We cannot accept children not booked in advance because we are not able to exceed our staffing ratios. If your child is unwell and not attending please call and leave a message on the answer phone or email the office to inform the staff.

· Your child enters through the main office.

· Your child is not dropped off before 7:30 am.

· We know if your child is absent and not going to be attending.

· Your child does not bring in food items for breakfast from home unless agreed with us.
